Fees and Funding

We are in receipt of Nursery education funding for three- and four-year-olds; where funding is not received, then fees apply.

Will I receive funding for my child’s fees when they are 3 Years Old?

Because the Pre-school is registered and inspected by Ofsted, we receive funding for all eligible 3- and 4-year-olds. When you register your child, the
Pre-school can claim funding for your child which is paid directly to the Academy. Along with legislation that comes with the funding we would need to see a copy of your child’s original birth certificate. Any problems, then please see a member of the Admin or management staff, who will be happy to help you.

How many sessions does this funding pay for?

Currently, you can claim for eligible 3- and 4-year-old children fifteen hour per week for 38 weeks of the year. Please see a member of staff to explain about the eligibility for 30-hour funding or Early Years Pupil Premium Funding.

How do I know if I am eligible for funding support?

Part time 3-year-old places are free to all families and are funded by Nursery Education Funding.

The government fund a further 15 hours of free Nursery provision for working parents. To apply for this, please visit: https://www.gov.uk/apply-30-hours-free-childcare. You need to apply before 15th July to guarantee a funded 30-hour place at our Nursery for the September.

If your child is a Rising 3 and is eligible for 30 hours free childcare, they can join our Pre-school Cohort in the morning providing there are spaces available, and your child is ready for the pre-school curriculum.

If you DO NOT meet the criteria for the government’s extended 30 hours entitlement, or you miss the deadline for the 30 hours entitlement in the current term, you can pay £12.40 per day for full-time provision. This includes the £2.40 cost for a school dinner.
